International Women’s Day

To celebrate IWD, 7 Mile Society created an annually recurring event honoring accomplished and iconic women from the Cayman Islands. The VIP honorees dinner at Mykonos Steak Club recognized Betty Baraud MBE; supermodel, actress and producer Selita Ebanks; Cayman National Bank CEO Janet Hislop; Cayman Female Rugby Manager Mercedes Foy; Infinite Mind Care founder Sutton Burke, LCPC; TV hostess and entrepreneur Elizabeth Chambers; and Natalie Urquhart, Director of the National Gallery. Following the dinner, international superstar DJ Brandi Cyrus performed at the after party. The event was recognized by the IWD global organizing body and raised a substantial donation for the Cayman Islands Crisis Centre to celebrate its 20th Anniversary.
